Getting lost in the world of media and movies

In these days statistics shows that many people watch television especial teenagers.Under the section of new in media 24 there is an article about teens who are watching too much television. In that article it is written that "finding that increased television viewing in adolescence is associated with negative academic outcomes is not surprising," said Tara Stevens, assistant professor of educational psychology and leadership at Texas Tech University". Few people read compared to watching television. I wonder what will happen in generations to come when people loose interest in reading? no one knows. Most of the viewers they tend identify themselves with some characters on television and the more they watch them the more they became like them. You find some other people thinking that they are Usher or Biance. They imitate those characters and get confused who they are. Media is one of the causes that people loose their identities. To some teenagers the things they were told are wrong at home they end-up doing the because Bell on "The days of our live" is doing it or James Bond is doing it. They admires what these fake characters do and do it in real life. its hard for them to distinguish between real and unreal. They get lost in this world of media and movies. They tend to think that those things that celebrities do are cool and they are much better. Some teenagers act like certain characters on TV because they think that they think they will get recognition like them.
